Your venue's website: what people coming from Instagram are looking for

Whoever taps the link in bio already wants to come. They need three things: what's on tonight, how to get in and how to get there. Everything else comes later.

Instagram is the shop window, but the decision is made one tap later: on the link in bio. That's where guests want immediate answers. If they find them, they get on the list or book a table; if they have to search, they close the page and move on to the next profile.

1. Tonight's event, at the top

The first thing to see is the next event: date, time, line-up, dress code and a clear button to get on the list or book. Everything else can wait further down.

2. Real photos of the venue

People want to know where they're going: the packed room, the bar, the terrace. A few good, recent photos are worth more than an endless gallery.

3. How to get there and how to get in

Address with a maps link, opening hours, minimum age, door policy. These are the questions that otherwise arrive by DM at midnight.

4. Fast, even with a weak signal

The website is almost always opened on a phone, often in the street. It must load in an instant: optimised images and no heavy effects.

5. Always up to date

A website still showing last week's event makes people think the venue has closed. Events, menu and photos must be easy to change from a phone, in a minute, by whoever runs the venue.

6. A recognisable identity

A techno club and a Brera cocktail bar can't have the same website. Typefaces, colours and layout should tell the story of the atmosphere even before the photos do.

Websites built with Notturno start from six different themes and are updated from your phone, with a preview before publishing.
